Bad driving behind 7 deaths in 2016 motorcycle accidents

MOI:

Director of Traffic Culture at the General Directorate of Traffic Lt-Col. Osama Bahar has said that seven people were killed and 150 injured in motorcycle accidents last year, mainly due to wrong driving.

Speaking on Al Amn radio show on Thursday he warned that motorcyclists faced higher risks in case they caused an accident. He said more than 33,000 motorcycle driving licences had been issued so far and there were more than 17,000 registered motorcycles. He asked motorcyclists to follow traffic rules for their own safety.
