Al Amn Radio Show: 21 cars and motorcycles seized for stunt driving

Director of Operations and Control at the General Directorate of Traffic, Lt-Col. asserted to Al Amn Radio Show on Thursday that the first quarter of the current year witnessed the registration of many stunt driving violations, in which 17 cars and four motorcycles seized. He said that more traffic patrols had been deployed to tackle such dangerous practices. 

He said that in the same period, 33191 calls to report traffic accidents, jams and technical faults of vehicles and traffic signals were made, in addition, to inquiries in which the department receives around 400 calls on a daily basis.  

Meanwhile, the Director of Media and Public Relations of the Bahrain International Circuit, Jassim Al Bardoli highlighted that the circuit organises various activities for youth to experience the thrill of speed driving in a safe environment. He said that those activities are held twice a month from October to April and once a week throughout Ramadan.
