Assistant Undersecretary of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Interior announced on Monday the detention of a policeman in connection with an online video that showed the policeman slapping a citizen in A’ali on December 23. He has been referred to the police court.

The Assistant Undersecretary said that such behaviour was unacceptable for a Bahraini police officer, adding that a legal investigation has been initiated.
