MOI:

The Director-General of the Central Governorate Police has announced that the control room received a call from Sitra Health Centre at 9:15am on Wednesday about the body of a 14-year-old boy having been brought there.

He said that those who had brought the body did not provide any information about how it was found or about any related incident. The Director-General said that during the time the death was reported the security forces had not dealt with any lawbreakers in Sitra, except dispersing a small group of around 10 people at 1:15am.

He said that the Public Prosecutor was notified and had gone to the hospital while the investigation into the case would continue. He called upon those who might have more information to immediately contact the directorate, to help it understand the circumstances behind the case and a quick tracking down of the culprits.
