Human Rights

Bahrain gives utmost attention to human rights in its Constitution and in the implementation of all its actions and decisions. Within this approach, law-enforcers are committed to respecting human rights standards through certain frameworks and mechanisms, including the Police Code of Conduct and regular training courses. This also done by integrating the human rights concepts in educational curriculums and culture as well as in the training courses at the Royal Academy of Police. This is reflected in the functioning of the police in the Kingdom that meets the best international practices.
