The Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate has arrested a man, 56, for his involvement in scam cases. He posted advertisements on social media for booking discounted travel tickets, which he booked for their actual prices, then cancelled them and got back the refunded money. An investigation into received cases led to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution. The Muharraq Police Directorate calls upon citizens and residents to deal with licensed travel agencies and avoid dealing with anonymous.
