The Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA), in cooperation with the Anti-Cyber Crime Directorate, arrested two Indians aged 45 and 32 for forging Bahrain’s visit visas and cheating their victims for money by making them believe that those visas would help them to renew their residency permits issued by a brotherly country. An investigation revealed that the two arrestees used a social media platform to promote their electronic visa-forging activities. Legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
