Police directorates are committed to enforce security and safety instructions

Security officials have asserted their commitments to enforce the security instructions of the Public Security Presidency during Eid Al Fitr.

They also pledge dedication to implementing the decisions of the Executive Committee led by His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister to limit the spreading of coronavirus.  

Director-General of Muharraq Governorate Police, Brigadier Saleh Al Dossairi, said that all preparation steps were taken to get ready for the Eid Al Fitr. He continued that police personnel have been conducting awareness campaigns in various areas in the district.

Director-General of Northern Governorate Police, Brigadier Isa Al Qattan, urged citizens and residents to cooperate with police personnel to promote community partnership in protecting their safety. He said that the department had launched 186 awareness campaigns to encourage the public to follow precautionary measures against coronavirus.

The Director-General of Capital Governorate Police, Brigadier Ibrahim Saif Al Najran, said that the department has been deploying police patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, as part of efforts to reduce crime rates.

The Director-General of Southern Governorate Police, Col. Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, said that the department’s plans for Eid are implemented through security and awareness programmes to ensure the safety of people during this happy occasion.

Director-General of Ports Security, Brigadier Maher Buali, highlighted that the department had formed several teams that work round the clock at various borders.
