Traffic registers 3885 motorcycle-related violations

The General Directorate of Traffic announced on Sunday the registration of 3885 motorcycle-related violations and confiscation of 364 motorbikes.
The motorcycles belong to food delivery drivers, and the steps were taken against them as part of ongoing campaigns to promote traffic safety.
The department has also organised many multi-language activities to encourage motorcyclists to respect traffic rules and regulations. Those drivers' violations include crossing red signals, exceeding speed limits, driving on pavements, wrong overtaking, and using mobile phones while driving.
The directorate urged delivery services companies and owners of commercial projects to instruct their motorcycle drivers to follow the rules for their safety and the safety of all road users.
