Southern Governor holds virtual Majlis

BNA:

Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, met through the virtual Majlis today with a number of citizens, in the presence of his Deputy, Brigadier Isa Thamer Al Dosari, a number of officers and senior officials.


HH the Southern Governor welcomed the audience, stressing that catering to citizens’ needs is a top priority in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


HH the Southern Governor affirmed the governorate’s keenness on adopting awareness and social initiatives to promote security partnership in cooperation with the Interior Ministry’s directorates. He asserted the importance of boosting social awareness of the need to continue complying with the precautionary measures to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.


HH the Southern Governor stressed continuous follow-up on the implementation of projects across the governorate in coordination with the competent parties. He noted the active role of the virtual Majlis, electronic platforms and the governorate’s channels in promoting communication and social links among citizens and catering to their needs.


The citizens expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Southern Governor for his continuous communication with them and keenness on following up on security, social and developmental issues.
