Al Wadaei-linked terrorists were convicted after legal process

With reference to the news reports about the arrest of terrorists with links to a terrorist fugitive who has fled the country, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has stated that those arrested were convicted after legal proceedings.
They had committed terrorist crimes and were tried on that basis. Suspects are prosecuted in accordance with their crimes and not on the basis of their or their family’s personal relations with criminals.
The three convicts whose names were mentioned in the media based on their links with the fugitive convict Ahmed Al Wadaei are:
(1) Hajer Mansoor Ali, 51. She is serving a three-year jail term for planting a fake bomb to create terror among citizens and residents and for disturbing security and general order.
(2) Mahmood Marzooq Hassan Ali, 32. He is also serving a three-year jail term for planting a fake bomb to create terror among citizens and residents and for disturbing security and general order.
(3) Nazar Naama Baqer Al-Wadaei, 21. He is serving a 10-year jail term for a case of arson and the making and possession of bombs.
