EDITORIAL s part of the c e l e b r a t i o n s of Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day, the Ministry of Interior joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in marking the e ven t . His Excellency the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa joined Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani to activate their joint work and to enrich cooperation in positive aspects and concepts of establishing security and stability in the field of internal security. The Ministry of Interior is led by His Excellency the Minister in strengthening Bahrain’s relations with brotherly and friendly countries and spreading peace and love through a balanced approach and directives of His Majesty the King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. The meeting was a platform of insightful visions motivating further development and progress and introducing achievements in the field of serving the country and the c i t i zen. The meeting came in appreciation of the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during which it enumerated the civilized achievements of Bahraini diplomacy, as it is manifested in noble values and principles derived from the royal directives of His Majesty the King, which has strengthened Bahrain’s diplomatic presence in the Gulf, Arab, regional and international levels. His Excellency praised the role of the government headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in embodying the realistic implementation of foreign relations. During the meeting, the heads of diplomatic missions were briefed on the security services provided by the Ministry of Interior that are directly related to citizens and residents, as well as security and stability. Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Interior for organizing the meeting, which comes within the framework of keenness to inform them of the security programmes and initiatives.
