His Excellency congratulated the heads of diplomatic missions, hailing the role of Bahraini diplomacy and its national and Arabism approaches that reinforced tolerance and peace values. He valued the diplomatic initiative of the Foreign Minister to hold this meeting, which represents a valuable opportunity to unify diplomatic concepts and responsibilities, to assume the responsibility of foreign diplomatic leadership. He explained that despite the development of modern communications, and the direct interaction between the concerned authorities, official cooperation remains to be through the diplomatic mission, pointing out that the essential standard duty that all should work together to achieve is to help citizens abroad.  The Foreign Minister thanked and appreciated the Interior Ministry for organising the meeting with heads of diplomaticmissions to inform them about the Interior Ministry’s security programmes and initiatives as part of efforts to protect security and stability. He assertedthat themeetingwas an opportunity to inform them of the ministry’s role in reinforcing community security. During the meeting, the Chief of Public Security, Lt. General Tariq Al Hassan, briefed the attendees on the programmes and services of the Interior Ministry, including the development and modernisation programmes to enhance performance.
