EDITORIAL ne of the most i m p o r t a n t achievements of the Ministry of the Interior is to create a sense of stability in the conscience of the people. It has created a strong cohesion to confront the reasons for violating the law, security and order as part of an awareness-raising exercise based on mobilizing the elements of national belonging and strengthening national identity. The role of the Ministry of Interior is critical in protecting and defending the homeland like a strong, impregnable fortress. This has become a base and starting point for every patriot who derives his identity from this beloved and precious kingdom our ancestors built, preserved and defended valiantly. Their predecessors also followed in their footsteps and adhered to the great legacy that they left. Now, our children have a historical trust and a duty to carry forward the same legacy with the support of our wise leadership and inspiring leadership, which has been our guiding light. We are now talking about this on the occasion of the celebration during which His Excellency the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid binAbdullahAl Khalifa addressed a large gathering representing all segments of Bahraini society. His Excellency spoke in detail about the achievements of the project to enhance belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship not as a new mechanism but for the its gains. This plan has activated and consolidated national identity. His Excellency stressed not to abandon the gains because these are derived from a lot of determination that strengthens us. Community partnership in Bahrain is based on the principles of the national plan and has unified the ranks and the cohesive front, which the community enjoys. This is because of the frequent initiatives that are not bound by borders in terms of sustainability. His Excellency spoke in detail about the achievements of the national plan not as a new mechanism, but for its gains. The plan has activated and consolidated the identity that His Excellency stressed not to neglect because it derives from the affiliation that stems from our determination and strengthens us and we are not afraid to defend our country. His Excellency stressed that identity is belonging and national identity is an achievement and pride based on the rules of sober national behavior towards the elevation of the country and the pursuit of its progress and construction. Our identity cannot be neglected, and our affiliation is the source of our determination and strength. We are now living in stability, peace, harmony and security and God’s blessings are upon us.
