MARCH 2023 30 EDUCATION he 27th Muscat International Book Fair, inaugurated under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Hammoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Oman’s Minister of Interior, will continue until March 4. Minister of Information and Chairman of the Main Committee of the Exhibition His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harasi, officials and media personnel were present during the opening, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. His Excellency went around the show and stopped at pavilions designated for official institutions including those of the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the National Documents and Archives Authority, the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Vision Implementation Follow-up Unit. He also visited the pavilion of the Omani Women’s Association those dedicated to children, along with those of several countries, where he was briefed about what they had on offer and the stands of publishing houses from within and outside Oman participating in the exhibition.
