MARCH 2023 42 SPORT epartments of the Ministry of Interior organized events to mark the Seventh Bahrain Sports Day. These included a range of sports and health events to signify effective community pa r tne r shi p . Ministry employees took part in activities and competitions. The Public Security Sports Federation organized these over three days and included tug of war, civil defence, car-lifting, karate show and 2 kilo run. The ministry’s athletes – men who served 25 years and women who served 15 years – were honoured. The Human Resources Directorate also held sporting events, including tug of war, endurance, pressure, abs, running, table tennis and arrow throwing. The participation of the Ministry of the Interior in the Bahrain Sports Day is part of spreading awareness of the importance of exercising, maintaining physical health and making sport a way of life that contributes to enhancing the health aspects of society.
