His Excellency pointed out that the conclusion of this year›s competition coincides with the advent of the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan, which carries spiritual and religious significance. He noted the broad participation and outstanding level demonstrated by the participants and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the General Directorate of Guards in organising the contest. The competition attracted around 200 contestants across its various categories, including Interior Ministry affiliates, their children, and beneficiaries of alternative sentencing and open prisons. The context also included sections for the call of prayer (Athan) and Hadith memorising. The contest supervisor, Col. Faisal Mohsen Al-Arjani, stressed that this competition is a celebration of those who value the significance of the Quran. He noted that the increasing turnout reflects the great interest in the holy book and the generous support that His Excellency gives to Quran-related initiatives. He thanked the Chief for his follow-up and interest in the competition to achieve its noble goals.
