He said the card is made of polycarbonate, which is resistant to breakage, scratches, and heat, and that the data is printed using laser engraving to enhance security. He said a recent personal photo with a white background is required for issuing the card. Regarding the card›s special features, he said that the card reflects Bahrain›s rich history, spanning over 3,000 years, by embodying its Sumerian and Dilmun civilizations, in addition to its wildlife and maritime heritage, thus enhancing national identity. Self-Service Center On the launch of the «Self-Service Centre,» he explained it provides citizens and residents with a range of advanced devices that enable them to conduct their transactions easily and flexibly around the clock. He emphasized that the centre represents an important step toward enhancing individuals› access to government services at any time, contributing to streamlining procedures and saving time and effort. He added that the centre allows citizens and residents to conduct government transactions independently and flexibly, without having to visit service offices, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to facilitating and improving the customer experience. Innovation Lab He said the Inovation Lab represents an advanced step toward promoting creativity and development in the government services sector by developing innovative technological solutions using artificial intelligence, which contributes significantly to improving government services across various fields. He explained that the lab is working to test new technologies used to improve service efficiency and provides a fertile environment for supporting technological innovation, which contributes to enhancing the Authority›s ability to provide smart solutions across various government sectors. He called on citizens and residents to download the «My Government» app and benefit from its various services, emphasizing that the app represents one of the essential tools in facilitating access to government services.
