SECURITY uring his meeting with the Omani Minister of Interior, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, His Excellency the Minister of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa emphasised the importance of continuing cooperation and strengthening security ties between the two brotherly countries. His Excellency praised the level of coordination between the two brotherly countries in combating transnational organised crime while the visiting minister praised the historical ties between the two brotherly countries, and stressed the keenness to develop them in all fields, especially in securiy.  His Excellency and his Omani counterpart held a meeting during which they emphasised strengthening cooperation and coordination to confront security challenges and rapid regional and international changes.
