SECURITY H is Excellency the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa inaugurated the first Border Management and Technologies Summit Middle East, organised by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the International Border Management and Technologies Association. The event brought together senior officials, experts and specialists from law enforcement, customs, immigration, international organisations and leading technology companies.  Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency said this is a unique and distinguished event being held for the first time in Bahrain. “It represents a significant milestone in the journey of regional and international security and technological cooperation, and a leading platform for constructive dialogue and the exchange of visions and experiences among a select group of officials, experts, and specialists in the field of border security management and modern technologies.” He said: “It is my honour to express my sincere loyalty and profound gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the leader of the comprehensive development process, the inspiration behind Bahrain’s modern renaissance, and the builder of the foundations of its advanced and prosperous state. “HM the King, through his wise vision and sound guidance, has solidified Bahrain’s international standing and made security and stability the cornerstone of progress, with the citizen at the focus of development and advancement.
