He affirmed that RAP is confidently progressing towards enhancing the Ministry’s personnel’s capabilities, expanding its impact across various sectors of the state, empowering youth, and investing in their potential. Vice Chancellor of the University of Huddersfield Professor Tim Thornton emphasised that this ceremony was a special day for them and all their families and friends who supported them throughout their studies. He pointed out that this was the first awards ceremony for the Master of Science in Security Studies programme, which was developed, accredited, and offered by the university.  The Master’s programme in Artificial Intelligence covered several topics, including machine learning and autonomous intelligent systems. The Cybersecurity programme covered effective research and professional practice, data mining, and network security.  The Master’s programme in Human Rights included courses on legal and academic skills, international human rights law, and the protection of civil liberties. The Master’s programme in Disaster Management covered the role of the human element in emergencies, crisis communication, and emergency planning, preparedness, and response. The ceremony also included the screening of a short film highlighting the collaboration between the Royal Police Academy and the University of Huddersfield in developing educational and training programs. His Excellency honoured the top graduates, congratulating and urging them to exert more effort and dedication to serving the nation.
