BRIEFS C hief of Public Security Lt. General Tariq Al Hassan attended the finale of the second Ministry of Interior Police Shooting Championship for male and female contestants. Organised by the Public Security Sports Association, the event was held at the Public Security Force›s shooting range. Employees from various Ministry of Interior directorates participated in the competition, which was attended by directors general and senior officers.  The Chief asserted that the competition represents a prominent sports event that showcases the Interior Ministry›s commitment to enhancing the skills of its affiliates in various sports, especially shooting. He said that organising the competition was part of the Ministry of Interior›s strategy to improve its affiliates› professional and physical level and provide a competitive platform that enhances efficiency and excellence in police shooting skills. He said that the competition promotes discipline and high skills among the participants. The Chief later honoured the winners.  Ch i ef at tends shoot i ng compet i t i on conc l us i on A l l set for ATP Cha l l enge The General Supervisor of the Bahrain Ministry of Interior ATP Challenge, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, chaired a coordinating meeting of the competition organising committee. The tournament will be held from 9 to 15 February 2025 at the Public Security Officers Club. The event is organized by the Public Security Sports Association in cooperation with the club. During the meeting, the proposals and opinions of the heads of the committees for the success of hosting this international event were reviewed. The tournament is organised annually by the Ministry of Interior and enjoys the interest and participation of many international tennis players. The progress of work in the plan set for hosting the tournament was also reviewed. The readiness and preparedness of all the working committees, including the Media Committee, the Administrative Committee, the Medical Committee, and the Courts Committee, were discussed. They were assigned special tasks before and during the tournament. The meeting affirmed the readiness of all the tournament courts, which are considered among the best tennis courts and meet all standards of the International Tennis Federation, offering all facilities to host the players and approving the timetable of the tournament’s activities for the technical and public success of the event.
