Northern Governor Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor hailed the accomplishment of the Northern Governorate’s governance team during an auditing carried out by the governance team of the Human Resources of the Interior Ministry.  He said implementing the governance application accreditation standards opens new administrative work horizons to enhance the administrative infrastructure through well-thought-out plans that ensure efficiency. For his part, Advisor Dr Mohamed Saad, Head of the Ministry of Interior›s Governance Team, appreciated the Northern Governorate›s efforts to follow the rules and foundations of governance, which is considered an integral part of the Ministry of Interior›s governance work. He stressed that the governance of procedures will enhance citizens’ confidence in the services provided by the Ministry of Interior. The Executive Office of the National Civil Emergency Management Committee participated in the final meeting to evaluate an exercise, “Backup 1,” held by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Emergency Management Center in Kuwait.  This exercise is part of the GCC countries› ongoing efforts to enhance their ability to respond quickly and effectively to various challenges and emergencies. It reflected the importance of cooperation and coordination between the relevant authorities to manage crises in an integrated manner. During the meeting, the participants reviewed a comprehensive report on all stages of the exercise and discussed ways to enhance emergency response mechanisms in the future.  Enhanci ng emergency response Admi ni s t rat i ve work get s a boos t Showjump i ng team wi ns top pri ze The Interior Ministry showjumping team won first place in the Alba Grand Showjumping competition.  The team supervisor, Major General Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, congratulated His Excellency the Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and highlighted the follow- up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt. General Tariq Al Hassan.  He thanked His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Head of the Showjumping Committee, for carrying out the required organisational steps.
