SECURITY hairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh met the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Civil Defence Council General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani; Minister of Health Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad; Minister of Cabinet Affairs Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki; Minister of Information Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi; Deputy Chairpersons of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council; the Chairs and members of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committees in both chambers, and senior officials. The ministers responded to questions raised by the members of both chambers and briefed them on the government’s efforts and procedures in emergency situations. Al Saleh emphasised that Bahrain’s comprehensive preparations and high state of readiness underscore the Kingdom’s commitment to civil protection and national stability amid regional and international challenges. He highlighted the Kingdom’s dedication to sustaining efforts and maximising capabilities to ensure civil safety, and preserve the national achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He expressed pride in Bahrain’s steadfast commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to diplomacy as a guiding principle in resolving crises and overcoming challenges an approach that reinforces regional and international security while promoting peace, coexistence, and solidarity among nations and peoples worldwide. He commended the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in managing cases of civil emergency ensuring institutional readiness to address various circumstances.
