The session also featured addresses by the Ambassadors of the United Kingdom and the United States to Bahrain. Later, His Excellency honoured the speakers, commending the advanced perspectives and insights they shared, which contribute to enriching the exchange of expertise and experiences. His Excellency, along with conference participants, toured the accompanying exhibition, which highlighted the objectives of the Alternative Sentencing Project and its achievements, as well as the integrated partnership framework on which it is based. The exhibition also showcased the training and rehabilitation entities involved in alternative sentencing, introduced the psychological and social support provided to beneficiaries, and emphasised the importance of continued support, engagement, and the development of new prospects. The conference included three working sessions featuring ministers, specialists, and experts from Bahrain, as well as various Arab and foreign countries.  The first session emphasised the importance of integrated efforts in reintegrating beneficiaries into society. The second session was held under the title “Alternative Sentencing and Future Challenges.” The conference concluded with a third and final session on the applications of criminal justice within the context of ongoing reform developments.
