SECURITY is Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received the US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who was accompanied by a high- level security delegation. Upon arrival at the Police Fort, an Honour Guard unit rendered a salute, and the Chief of Public Security and several senior Interior Ministry officials were present to receive the guests. His Excellency the Interior Minister welcomed the US official and her accompanying delegation, appreciated the visit and affirmed its significance in strengthening security cooperation and coordination between the two countries. His Excellency asserted that the Bahrain remains steadfast in its civilisational approach, founded on coexistence and promoting a culture of peace. This commitment stems from the reform era and the noble royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He praised the strong bilateral relations and the strategic partnership that unites the two countries. «For over a century, Bahrain and the United States have stood together in pursuit of peace, stability, and shared prosperity,” His Excellency said. “Today, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Donald Trump, our partnership continues to evolve, anchored in mutual trust and strengthened by close cooperation across a wide range of sectors.” He added that the collaboration between Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior and the US Department of Homeland Security is a vital pillar of that partnership, highlighting: “Together, we have worked to counter terrorism, enhance border and aviation security, combat human trafficking, and build capacity to confront emerging threats, especially in the cyber domain.» His Excellency said the current US administration’s priorities of securing borders, reinforcing supply chains, and deepening engagement with key allies, closely aligns with the Government of Bahrain’s national security H Promot i ng cu l t ure of peace H.
