SECURITY ith the rise in summer temperatures, awareness of safety procedures and how to handle such incidents becomes increasingly important, particularly fires that result from a failure to take preventive measures. This can lead to loss of life and property damage. In this context, the role of Civil Defence is clearly evident, as it serves as the first line of defence in raising community awareness of risks both inside and outside homes. Civil Defence personnel also demonstrate their rapid response in effectively handling reports and handling them professionally. To learn more about the efforts undertaken by the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Al Amn interviewed Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi, Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
