ahrain has recorded notable achievements in the field of combating drugs at the security and social levels. The Anti- Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in accordance with the instructions of His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, is implementing comprehensive plans based on reducing supply by arresting smugglers and dealers as well as reducing demand through awareness and treatment programmes. This is in addition to implementing campaigns aimed at strengthening community partnerships and spreading security awareness among all segments of society. Community responsibility Al-Amn magazine met with Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Khalid Al-Buainain, Director of the Anti- Drugs Department at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
