He highlighted the role and efforts of the working teams and what they achieved in initiatives to develop distinguished cooperation and coordination projects.  His Excellency asserted that through sincere and ongoing efforts, work would be carried out through a brotherly determination spirit to achieve security initiatives while protecting the continuity of the security modernisation and development process between the two countries. He emphasised that, by the grace of God and through tireless and sincere efforts, work would be done to accomplish these security initiatives, while at the same time maintaining the continuity of the process of security modernisation and development between the two countries, to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, chaired by HRH Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The meeting reviewed security topics of common interest to build on achieved initiatives to enhance performance in tackling security challenges and rapid regional and international changes.  Among the initiatives implemented were efforts to curb the spread of extremist ideology among youth, cooperation in cybersecurity, linking the two countries› main operations rooms, and completing the first phase of facilitating travel procedures for citizens via airports. The necessary mechanisms for implementing several new initiatives to enhance security cooperation and coordination were also discussed. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency and his Saudi counterpart signed the meeting’s minutes.
