SECURITY H is Excellency Ithe Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa visited Durham Constabulary as part of his visit to the United Kingdom. He was accompanied by Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and officials from the Interior Ministry. The visiting delegation was received by the Chief Constable Rachel Bacon. The visit comes withing the framework of efforts to strengthen the fruitful partnership between the Durham Constabulary and the Interior Ministry. Chief Constable Bacon emphasised that this visit represents additional support through the launch of advanced training programmes and workshops between the two sides in various areas of police work and law enforcement. His Excellency emphasised Bahrain’s civilised approach under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which is based on promoting openness and international partnerships to contribute to the protection of global peace and security. He pointed out the importance of continuing to develop bilateral cooperation between tBahrain and the United Kingdom, based on the distinguished historical relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the mutual desire to explore new horizons of joint work.
