The visit was part of the routine inspection tours conducted by the Inspectorate- General to directorates of the Ministry of Interior, aimed at ensuring their readiness and operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of performance by Interior Ministry personnel. Attendees at the Capital Governorate Majlis lauded the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for a parental induction day at all public schools, hailing it as an educational initiative to foster community partnership. They affirmed it would cultivate a scholastic environment conducive to excellence, aligning with the Kingdom›s ambitions to develop a pioneering educational system. During a reception hosted by His Excellency the Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the guests including dignitaries, businessmen, members of the legislative authority, and residents, commended the Ministry of Education for its meticulous preparations to inaugurate the academic year with a modernised, outcomes-driven educational environment aligned with labour market needs. They also commended the General Directorate of Traffic’s preparations and awareness campaigns, which exemplify an integrated official and community endeavour to ensure both student safety and seamless traffic flow for the new academic year. On behalf of Muharraq Governorate and its citizens, Muharraq Governor Salman Bin Hindi Al Mannai expressed profound gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), for the endorsement of Resolution No. (4) of 2025, which regulates commercial fishing licences for Bahraini fishermen. The Muharraq Governor affirmed that the resolution, endorsed under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives, underscored the importance placed on developing and protecting fisheries as a vital national resource. It further exemplifies the government’s commitment, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to bolstering food security and ensuring the sustainability of the Kingdom’s marine wealth. He underscored that the resolution stipulates the presence of a Bahraini fisherman on board every commercial vessel. He affirmed that this would enhance regulatory oversight and curtail violations by some Asian labourers and illicit subleasing, thereby protecting the marine environment.
