SECURITY is Excellency the minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received His Excellency Lebanon’s Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, and his accompanying delegation. Several senior officials from the Interior Ministry were present. After arriving at the Police Fort and taking the salute, His Excellency and his Lebanese counterpart proceeded to the meeting hall, where His Excellency delivered a speech in which he welcomed the brotherly visit. He expressed his hope that this visit would contribute to strengthening security cooperation and coordination within the framework of the relations that unite the two brotherly countries, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun. His Excellency emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm stance towards brotherly Lebanon, which is based on supporting everything that preserves its security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity. He praised the ties that unite both countries and the keenness to develop and enhance them for the benefit of the common security.
