security work, to protect the security and stability of the two countries.  He stressed the importance of discussing common security challenges and taking the necessary measures regarding them within the framework of strengthening joint Arab security work. He expressed his wishes to the Lebanese Minister of Interior for a successful visit aimed at enhancing prospects for security cooperation and achieving common interests to maintain security and stability. The Lebanese Minister emphasised the deep-rooted ties of cooperation between the two brotherly countries. He noted his keenness to strengthen cooperation mechanisms, coordination, and the exchange of expertise between the Lebanese and Bahraini sides. Following this, discussions commenced between the two sides, including several important security issues. The aim was to enhance cooperation and coordination across various security sectors and improve performance in addressing security challenges and the rapidly evolving regional and international landscape. The discussions also covered several topics of joint cooperation. The Lebanese Minister had arrived in Bahrain earlier where he was received at Bahrain International Airport by His Excellency and several senior officials from the Interior Ministry.
