is Excellency the Minister of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa honoured members of the security teams from the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, who succeeded in uncovering the circumstances of a number of security cases and arresting the suspects. The Chief of Police and the Interior Ministry Undersecretary attended.  The cases included the arrest of two Chinese nationals at the airport in connection with the theft of gold jewellery from a residence valued at approximately BD 50,000; the arrest of two suspects for setting a fire and attempting to blow up an ATM of a national bank; and the arrest of two Asians involved in the murder of another person. His Excellency praised the high level of readiness and professionalism demonstrated by the honoured officers and non-commissioned officers, as well as their courage and swift response in handling incidents and security cases, in a manner that safeguards public safety and security. He stressed that security efforts do not end with the arrest of offenders, but must also include strengthening security awareness in order to contribute to crime prevention. He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to police personnel for their dedication and loyalty, and for the efforts and sacrifices they make to maintain security and public safety. He also commended their precision and professionalism, which reflect positively on the services provided to citizens and residents and contribute to delivering them with the required efficiency, speed, and accuracy. He wished them continued success in their duties.
