His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa chaired the eighth meeting of the Security Committee for the year 2023 in the presence of a number of officers from police directorates and Southern Governorate officials.
He welcomed the attendees and stressed the role of the cooperative partnership of security officials as part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
HH the Governor was briefed on the important developments in the different areas of the district and the strengthening of the security needs.
He also followed up on the security efforts during the Islamic month of Muharram to enhance public safety by doubling efforts between the different security agencies.
He discussed the back-to-school efforts of the General Directorate of Traffic to ensure the safety of road users and regulate traffic during peak hours.
He then followed up on prominent results of awareness initiatives in various public facilities in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the Southern Governorate Police Directorate.
The attendees, during the conclusion, thanked HE the Governor for the diligent follow-up and continuous communication of all the various aspects discussed about the partnership among various security agencies throughout the governorate.
