Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today chaired the 11th meeting of the Security Committee.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier-General Isa Thamer Al Dosary, Public Security Presidency Affairs Director-General Brigadier Salman Mohammed Al Zayed, and other officers.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of community partnership to maintain security and step up coordination, in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
He was briefed about ongoing preparations ahead of the celebrations marking Bahrain's national days, praising the Southern Governorate's cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic.
The Southern Police Directorate gave a presentation, directing to step up awarness programmes and campaigns to maintain security and bolster community partnership.
