His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued a Royal Decree, pardoning 361 inmates, who were convicted in various court cases and have served part of their jail terms. The royal kind gesture, marking the Kingdom’s National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, reflects HM King Hamad's keenness to provide the pardoned inmates with the opportunity to integrate society anew and participate in the kingdom’s development march.
