Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa inaugurated a joint maritime exercise (Vigilant Guard 11) with the participation of some Interior Ministry directorates.
He hailed the security readiness and the drill’s scenarios, along with the competency of the Coast Guard and other participating forces. He asserted the implementation of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister to benefit from exercises to achieve goals. He also highlighted the instructions of the Chief of Public Security to continue with drills to review joint field operations.
The Deputy Chief was briefed on the exercise’s goals and phases to build capabilities and enhance training competencies.
The exercise aims to enhance preparedness for precautionary measures to protect establishments, maritime security, and safety.
