The Financial Intelligence Directorate has signed an agreement to combat money laundering and terrorism financing with Oman's National Centre for Financial Information. The Financial Intelligence Directorate Shaikha Main bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and CEO of the Omani Centre Col. Abdul Rahman bin Amer Al Kiyumi attended the signing ceremony.
The Director highlighted the importance of the agreement to benefit from Bahrain's expertise in the FATF Mutual Evaluation and reinforce cooperation between the two brotherly countries in fighting money laundering and terrorism financing. She hailed the strong ties and security partnership between the two countries.
