The General Directorate of Civil Defence extinguished a fire in a warehouse in Sitra with 17 vehicles and 59 personnel. The fire broke out on Saturday night in a shop's sports equipment and wood warehouse. The cooling system started shortly after the firefighting. Director-General Brigadier Ali Al Hutai said that the operations room received the case at 11:12 pm. The teams rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby factories. A large part of the warehouse was damaged, and a nearby warehouse of another company was slightly damaged. No injuries were reported. The National Ambulance, Najeda (Rescue), and the Capital Police Directorate were at the scene to secure the surrounding areas. He said that the investigation continues to know the reason behind the fire.
