His Excellency Capital Governor and Chairman of the Coordination Council Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, praised the efforts made by various council members for their active role in cooperation and joint coordination.
HE stressed that the past year witnessed many achievements at various levels which were achieved through the recommendations put forward by the Coordinating Council according to a clear cut plan of action aimed directly at the betterment of the Capital Governorate.
His Excellency presided over the virtual meeting of the Cooperating Council of the Capital governorate with the participation of representatives of various Government agencies. The figures showed the adoption of 53 recommendations over the past year, with a 94.5% response rate. The council discussed 93 reports in various fields that were reviewed during 11 coordination meetings.
The Coordinating Council also discussed the service needs in Block 438 in the Al-Qalaa area, which were monitored during the field visits of the Public Conditions Team in the Capital Governorate, represented in paving roads, establishing speed bumps, afforesting some roads and establishing a public park .
The Council reviewed a visual report on the status of the ports in the Capital Governorate and ways to develop them as a source of livelihood for many families and their roles in providing fresh fish to the markets. The Council recommended the need to expedite the implementation of these needs in order to achieve the aspirations of the people.
