Northern governor Ali bin Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfor chaired the weekly consultative meeting, in the presence of Deputy Governor Brigadier Khalid Rabia Sinan Al-Dosari and a number of officials in the Northern Governorate.
Stages of accrediting A’ali a healthy city within the Healthy Cities Network of the World Health Organization were reviewed. The Governor appreciated the follow-up of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization expert in order to obtain accreditation, in preparation for the adoption of the Northern Governorate in the Global Healthy Cities Network. Preparations for Bahrain Sports Day was also discussed, which will include many sports and health events in A’ali Walkway during February.
The results of the exhibition of health and engineering professions, which was held on the sidelines of the celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day, were reviewed to employ a number of job seekers in the fields of nursing and engineering.
