Northern Governor highlights Sports Day event

Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussein Al Asfoor  stressed the importance of a successful Bahrain Sports Day event to be held on the second of February next year for all Bahraini public sector employees, in accordance with the royal directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and in cooperation with the various sectors in the governorate to develop a comprehensive social, sports, and recreational programme.

The Northern Governor held a meeting with Bahrain Sports For All Federation Chairman Isa Mohammed Abdulrahim, in the presence of Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier Khalid bin Rabia Sinan Al Dossary, where under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Northern Governor and the Chairman of Bahrain Sports For All Federation affirmed the importance of developing programmes and events that promote the concept of sport for all through the involvement of all sectors, and the importance of celebrating this day with clubs and youth centres, with a focus on providing means for public success to the central event, which will be held over 3 consecutive days by Sports For All Federation in the Formula Circuit.

The Northern Governor expressed his willingness to cooperate and achieve the goals of the Northern Governorate and its motto of a healthy governorate by cooperating with the Bahrain Sports for All Federation.
