The maritime patrols of the Coast Guard have rescued four individuals who went missing in the middle of the sea because of a technical fault in their boat in Bulthama reef.
The case was reported at 9:50 pm on Saturday, and the search continued until they were found on the boat at 3:10 am in the northwest of Bulthama reef, 38 nautical miles from the north of Bahrain. The boat was pulled to the shore, and they were provided with the required assistance. All of them are in good health.
The Coast Guard calls upon seafarers to follow the weather report and register at the maritime checkpoints. In addition, they should ensure to have safety tools onboard and operate the automatic detection device while sailing. For assistance, seafarers can call 17700000 or the hotline 994.
