Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operation and Training Affairs Brigadier Mohammed Abdulla Al Haram chaired the Interior Ministry delegation participating in the meeting of the Arab counter-terrorism Strategy and its implementation plan, which was held at the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunisia.
During the meeting, the first and fourth basic points of the Strategy concerned with handling the conditions leading to the spread of terrorism and measures to ensure the respect of human rights were discussed.
This strategy took into account all Security Council resolutions related to combating terrorism, the decisions of the League Council at the summit level and the decisions of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers to combat terrorism since the adoption of the Arab Strategy to counter-terrorism in 1997 .
