Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, has met INTERPOL President Major-General Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi. The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi on the sideline of a security meeting between the Interior Ministries of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination with the INTERPOL to exchange expertise, information and training to fight human trafficking, illicit drug, illegal weapon trade and environmental crimes. The Chief hailed the cooperation with the INTERPOL in fighting organised crimes and promoting security and stability. Meanwhile, the Interpol President highlighted that Bahrain is a strategic partner of the organisation.
