Capital Governorate organises the National Sports Day event

His Excellency Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa praised the directives of the Council of Ministers headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to allocate half a working day to practice sports activity in all government and private sectors in the Kingdom.

His Excellency appreciated the concern of His Highness Shaikh Naser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee and their continuous support for sports sector  and athletes stressing that the Sports Day initiative is an indication of the government's keenness to promote the culture and behavior of sports among Bahraini society.

the Capital Governorate held the National Sports Day event for the Kingdom of Bahrain in the water park, with the participation of the Capital Municipality, the Capital Municipality Council and the Capital Governorate Police Directorate. The public activity was a group of different sports in order to achieve in terms of sports, health and social aspects.

HE the Governor stated that the event organised by the governorate included a range of different activities starting with stretching activities followed by walking after which a medical examination by the Bahrain Specialist Hospital.
