Chief of Public Security takes part in the Bahrain Sports Day

Per the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended the activities of the Interior Ministry to mark the Bahrain Sports Day.  

He asserted that the participation of all directories in marking the day promotes community partnership and healthy lifestyles. He thanked His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his directives to encourage all public sector employees to participate in the activities of the day to promote sports as a community culture.

He highlighted the role of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King's Representative for Charitable and Youth Affairs and the President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in encouraging sports activities as lifestyles. He also hailed the inspirational role of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee, to Bahraini youth.

The Chief hailed the dedication of HE Interior Ministry to promoting sports activities in the ministry, along with physical fitness, to help police personnel to enhance their performance.

He also thanked the Public Security Sports Association, governorates and the ministry’s directorates for participating in various sports activities. He also honoured male personnel who completed more than 25 years in sports activities and female personnel who have been involved in sports for more than 15 years. He also honoured individuals who participated in various sports competitions.
