The Muharraq Governorate organised a number of sporting activities as part of the Bahrain Sports Day for the Governorate employees at the Muharraq Model Youth Centre.
Muharraq Governor Salman bin Hindi Al Mannai affirmed that the annual organisation of the Bahrain Sports Day reflects the keenness of the esteemed government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to embody the sporting spirt and promote a healthy lifestyle among the citizens.
Deputy Muharraq Governor Brigadier Abdulla Khalifa Al Jiran praised the efforts of the Muharraq Model Youth Centre in the community partnership building within the Governorate. He thanked those in charge of the Youth Centre for their cooperation in the National Sports Day activities. The Programme included variety of activities like walking, football and other competitions.
