The Forensic Information Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science and in association with Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf, an anti-drugs and psychotropic substances lecture was held in Isa Town Community Centre.
The lecture, which was delivered by Forensic Information Directorate affiliates included types of narcotics, the signs of drug use, in addition to the reasons that may lead to the use of drugs and how to help the drug user to communicate with the concerned authority through calling the hotline (996) and contacting (Recovery) programme. Confidentiality is insured in application of Article No. (42) that a criminal case shall not be instituted against any person who seeks assistance and treatment on his own or one of his relatives of the fourth degree in order to move from addiction to recovery.
